Images, logos & assets
Add images to a hosted page, choose accessible descriptions and understand how page assets differ from submission attachments.
Upload images to your page
Open Pages, choose a page and select Content. Add a Logo or Image block and choose Upload logo or Upload image. You can move the block above or below your form. Save the draft, check the preview, then publish when ready.
- PNG, JPEG and WebP are supported, up to 2 MiB per image. SVG uploads are not supported.
- The image allowance is 20 MiB per page and 40 MiB or 100 images per workspace.
- Logo and image uploads are included on every plan. Images shown on a published page are public; do not upload confidential documents as page images.
Use an external image URL
A Logo or Image block also accepts an HTTPS image URL. Under Design, the Background image URL sets an image behind the page. Use a direct image address that is accessible without a login, not a link to a file-sharing preview page.
External images load from the host you choose. That host receives the visitor’s image request. Choose a host you trust and keep its URLs available. Upload the image to Formward if you prefer to manage it with the page.
Describe images and avoid layout shifts
Use the Image description field to explain meaningful content, such as the company name in a logo. Leave decorative images without descriptive copy. Keep important text in a text block rather than only inside an image, and check that text remains readable over a background in both day and night modes.
<img
src="/images/company-logo.png"
alt="Example company"
width="240"
height="80"
/>This HTML example is for an image on your own website. Host the file with that website and reserve its width and height. The Formward page editor handles image rendering for hosted pages.
Page images or submission attachments?
Page images are content you publish for visitors to see. A file field collects a file from the person submitting the form, such as a CV or supporting document. Submission attachments require Professional or above and have their own limits and access rules.
Manage and remove unused images
Choose Manage uploaded images in a Logo or Image block to review workspace images. Save your changes before refreshing image usage. Images referenced by saved drafts, published pages or brand presets are protected from deletion. Remove an image from its saved uses before deleting it from storage. Images used by retained page versions also stay protected. Up to 50 versions are kept per page; an image becomes deletable only when no retained version references it. Versions cannot be deleted manually.
