These terms govern the Formward Partner Program (the "Program"). By applying you agree to them, together with Formward's Terms of Service and Acceptable Use Policy. "Formward", "we" and "us" mean the operator of the Formward service; "you" means the partner.
1. The Program
You recommend Formward and earn a commission on the subscription payments of the customers you refer. The customers you refer receive 20% off their first 3 months of their first subscription, applied automatically at checkout.
2. Joining
Any signed-in Formward user may apply in the dashboard by giving a payout email and accepting these terms. Existing paying customers are approved immediately. Other applications are pending until we approve them, and we may decline or later suspend any partner. No customer is credited to a pending or suspended partner, and a pending or suspended partner earns no commission on payments made in that time.
3. Attribution
Attribution is last click. When someone opens your link, we store your partner code in a first-party cookie for 60 days; a click on another partner's link replaces it. When that person creates a Formward account, the organization created for the account is credited to you for life. We do not set the cookie for visitors whose browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal or who have declined marketing cookies, so we cannot guarantee that every click is credited. Customers who already have an account are not new referrals.
4. Commission
You earn 10% of every subscription payment (monthly or annual) made by a customer you referred, for as long as that customer keeps paying. The commission is calculated on the amount paid after discounts and before tax, in the currency of the payment, and rounded down to the cent. Payments of zero, such as the start of a free trial, earn nothing. Refunds reduce the commission in proportion. A dispute (chargeback) takes back the matching share of the commission of the payment concerned, and if the dispute is decided in our favour that share is given back. A commission becomes payable 30 days after the payment so that refunds and disputes can still be taken into account.
5. Payouts
Payouts are made once a month, on the 15th, by bank transfer through Wise to the payout email you gave us. A payout is made when your payable balance is at least EUR 50; smaller balances carry over to the next month. Commissions that have been taken back after you were paid are deducted from your next payout. You are responsible for giving correct payout details and for any taxes that apply to your earnings.
6. What is not allowed
- Bidding on brand keywords. You must not bid on Formward, Formward coupon, Formward discount or any variant or misspelling of them as keywords in Google Ads, Microsoft (Bing) Ads or paid social advertising, and you must not use them in ad text or display URLs.
- Referring yourself. Your own account, your own organizations, an account under the same email address, or an account that shares your company email domain is not a referral, and commission on it is not paid.
- Spam, misleading claims, fake accounts, incentivized signups made only to trigger commission, or cookie stuffing.
- Presenting your links as anything other than what they are. Disclose that they are affiliate links and mark them as such.
- Implying that you represent Formward or speak for it.
7. Fraud, withholding and termination
Commission that arises from fraud, self-referral, bidding on brand keywords or any other breach of these terms is forfeited. We may withhold it, hold your payouts while we investigate, reverse it, and recover it from later payouts, and we may suspend or end your participation for the same reasons.
When your participation is suspended or ends, for any reason, no new customers are credited to you and you earn no commission on payments made after that. Commission you had already earned from genuine referrals, and that has not been reversed or forfeited under this section, stays payable under section 5. Either of us may end your participation at any time.
8. Your data
We process your payout details, the commissions we owe you and your referral statistics to run the Program and to meet our bookkeeping obligations. See our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy. We do not store IP addresses or any visitor identity from clicks on your link; a click is counted as one more on your daily total.
9. Changes
We may change the Program and these terms. We will give you at least 30 days' notice of a change by email or in your dashboard. If you do not agree to a change, you can stop participating before it takes effect. Commission earned under the old terms is not affected.
