What this page checks
Every load of this page runs two live probes and one backlog check, in the order a submission travels: the ingestion endpoint at forms.formward.eu that receives form posts, the database the submission is written to, and, for the worker that filters spam and sends notifications and webhooks, a count of submissions that have waited more than five minutes without being processed. That count is an indirect signal: the row turns yellow once 25 or more submissions are waiting and never red, so on a quiet day a stopped worker can stay green for a while, and the latency shown for it is the time of that query. The website and dashboard rows are not probed separately: they are served by the same application as this page, so they read operational whenever this page renders. Email delivery is not probed here; a problem at the mail provider shows up as delayed notifications, not as a red row.
- Operational
- The probe answered within its time budget. Latency is shown next to each component in milliseconds.
- Degraded
- The component answers, but slowly or with an error. For the worker that is a backlog: submissions are still accepted and notifications or webhooks run late. For ingestion it means the readiness check failed (for example the database was unreachable) and submissions may be refused until it recovers.
- Down
- The probe failed. If ingestion is down, forms posting to Formward get an error instead of a redirect; we treat this as an incident.
- Unknown
- The probe could not run from this page. It usually resolves on the next load; it does not mean the component is down.
If something is not working for you
A form that does not submit while this page is green is usually a configuration issue on the form: a wrong endpoint, a missing name on an input, a blocked origin or a plan limit. The form health check in the dashboard inspects your page's markup and scripts for the endpoint but sends nothing, so confirm delivery with a real test submission; the response reference explains every status code the endpoint returns. If a component here is degraded or down, write to support@formward.eu with the form ID and the time of the failed submission; we answer during Swedish business hours and post what happened in the changelog once resolved.
