Only received submissions count

  • Only received submissions count toward your allowance. Replies, automatic replies and automation emails do not.
↗︎

The new workspace is here

  • The studio redesign is now available: clearer dashboard navigation, form and page editors, full-card form links and reply history that refreshes after a send.
  • Form health checks supported JavaScript submission handlers in addition to HTML form actions, including endpoint configuration in same-origin scripts. Dynamic or unsupported handlers are reported for manual review rather than treated as a confirmed connection.
  • Hosted pages have an explicit search-indexing toggle. New Free pages start hidden from search, while new paid pages start indexable. Existing saved preferences are preserved when a plan changes.
  • Free pages can include up to three button blocks. Form close rules and advance close reminders follow the current plan and stop applying when the entitlement is no longer available.
  • The operations workspace adds platform-owned forms and deployment health alerts. Support unread counts now refresh when a thread is opened, with separate counts for the shared queue and personal inbox.

A clearer workspace for clients and developers

Read the release notes (11)
  • Customer portals: Business workspaces can share selected forms and individual cases with registered respondents, including documents, status updates and requested amendments. Portal branding and verified custom domains keep the experience connected to your business.
  • Submission PDFs: download a protected-answer-redacted copy, email it to a verified notification address, or attach it to a conditional email. An attachment in an existing email does not use a second email credit.
  • Retry a confirmed failed delivery step without resending successful steps. Unconfirmed delivery remains blocked to avoid duplicates.
  • Sensitive-field policies now extend across API responses, exports, analytics and earlier deletion. Signature evidence records original-answer and definition hashes with bounded IP linkage.
  • Reviewed competitor configuration imports preserve supported settings in inactive drafts. The curated template marketplace adds reviewed listings and private draft installation, including an order-request template on Free.
  • Business workspaces can grant registered clients a separate portal to view responses or edit form drafts, without access to the agency’s billing and settings. Protected answers stay masked.
  • Save reusable fields, page blocks, themes and visibility rules. Business can copy forms and pages between managed workspaces as unpublished drafts for review.
  • Import form definitions from HTML, JSON Schema, CSV headers and supported provider exports. Review the mapping before creating an inactive draft; external integrations are not enabled automatically.
  • Scoped API access now covers page management, analytics and automation definitions. Form definition changes can be saved as drafts and explicitly published with revision checks.
  • Webhook diagnostics show response codes, duration and redacted request and response details, making failed deliveries easier to investigate.
  • The changelog itself has a new layout, a release index, collapsible older notes and an RSS feed for following updates.

More control over your forms, replies and workflow

Read the release notes (6)
  • Email design: build notification and automatic-reply emails with a logo, colours, variables, conditional copy and a call to action. Available features follow your plan.
  • Table and pipeline views: choose columns, filter numeric answers, save views and move responses between lead stages. Pipeline is optional for each form.
  • Drafts and history: save form definitions and page designs before publishing, compare page versions and restore earlier content into a draft. Revocable staging links let you share a page preview.
  • Test submissions: check your setup in a separate Test view without sending emails, running integrations or using submission credits.
  • Page translations: maintain English, Swedish, German, French and Spanish copy, detect browser language and review translations when the original text changes.
  • Privacy center: review consent, retention and protected fields together, and optionally remove submission IP linkage after 24 hours.
↗︎

Hosted pages that feel like your own

Read the release notes (6)
  • Build a hosted page around your forms with movable content blocks, uploaded logos, social icons, themes and an interactive preview.
  • Start from categorized templates for contact, surveys, leads, quotes, bookings and orders. Order forms are available on Free; Personal and Professional add more design choices.
  • Choose a classic form, a multi-step flow or one question at a time. Add advanced fields and conditional behaviour where your plan supports them.
  • Share pages with links, QR codes and embeds. Professional adds custom domains and removal of Formward branding.
  • A clearer page editor, full-card form navigation, improved quick actions and reply history that updates after sending make everyday work smoother.
  • Updated allowances: new Free accounts receive 50 submissions per month; existing Free accounts retain 100. Personal includes 200. A sent automatic reply uses one additional credit, so a submission with an automatic reply uses two.
v2.5↗︎

14-day free trial, six European landing pages & honest transfer documentation

Read the release notes (6)
  • 14-day free trial on your first paid subscription. A card is required and the subscription renews automatically when the trial ends, so there is no interruption - cancel any time before then and you are not charged.
  • Localized landing pages for German, French, Italian, Spanish, Dutch and Swedish, each written for the national framing of the GDPR (DSGVO, RGPD, AVG) rather than translated word for word.
  • Data flow: the notification and autoresponder rows now say plainly that we send from EU infrastructure but cannot tell where the mailbox itself is hosted - a Gmail or Outlook address means a US provider. Previously both were labelled EU-only, which was wrong for anyone notifying a non-EU mailbox.
  • Data flow: webhooks that are switched off, or that belong to a plan without the webhooks entitlement, are no longer listed as active destinations. They were being counted against the EU-only summary for deliveries that never happen.
  • Transfer documentation rewritten across the site, including the transfer-impact statement, the Article 30 record, Security, Terms and every comparison page. Claims about where data goes are now scoped to Formward's own processing, and the destinations you control - notification mailbox, autoresponder, Sheets sync, webhooks - are named explicitly as yours to assess.
  • Enterprise and SSO now have a public page, and llms.txt is generated from live product facts so AI assistants answer questions about Formward from current information.
v2.4↗︎

Multiple webhooks, reply from the dashboard & verification fixes

Read the release notes (7)
  • Multiple webhooks per form: send each submission to several endpoints independently, each with its own type (generic, Slack, Discord, Teams, Mattermost), signing secret, delivery log and retries.
  • Reply to a submitter directly from the dashboard - the reply goes out from your notification address, with suppression and privacy rules applied.
  • Delete a form and everything attached to it from Settings, with a type-to-confirm step.
  • Verification links now survive email security scanners. Providers that open links in the background no longer consume the link before you click it, which previously showed a false 'verification failed' page.
  • Clicking a verification link now shows a clear confirmation (or a specific error) in the dashboard instead of leaving you guessing.
  • Fixed a display bug where organisation members saw 'this address hasn't confirmed' on a form whose notification email was in fact verified.
  • Support mail that a mail server files as spam is now picked up too, so a genuine message can no longer go unseen.
v2.3↗︎

Enterprise SSO, SCIM & Submission Firewall

Read the release notes (3)
  • Single sign-on (OIDC and SAML) so enterprise teams log in through their own identity provider.
  • SCIM 2.0 endpoint for automatic user provisioning and deprovisioning from Okta, Azure AD and Entra.
  • Submission Firewall: per-form rate limits and one-click blocking of disposable / temporary-email addresses.
v2.2↗︎

Field validation, Delivery Center & passkeys

Read the release notes (3)
  • Server-side field validation: required, length, number-range, pattern and email-format rules enforced at ingestion.
  • Delivery Center: one timeline per submission for email, webhook, Google Sheets and Baserow - with one-click webhook replay.
  • Passkey (WebAuthn) sign-in alongside passwords and two-factor authentication.
v2.1↗︎

EU-native integrations

Read the release notes (3)
  • Sync submissions to Baserow (EU-hosted) or Google Sheets, in addition to outbound webhooks.
  • Official WordPress plugin and n8n community node, plus a unified cross-form inbox.
  • Correction, 7 October 2026: the n8n node is not yet published to npm. Use n8n's Webhook node for now, see /integrations/n8n.
v2.0↗︎

Hosted forms v2 & white-label

Read the release notes (3)
  • Richer hosted forms: more field types, conditional logic, ratings and file uploads.
  • White-label hosted pages on Business, with custom accent colours and your own short links.
  • Anonymous-response mode that stores no IP linkage for sensitive forms.
v1.6↗︎

Hosted form pages

Read the release notes (5)
  • Publish a shareable public form at formward.eu/s/your-slug, with no website needed.
  • Customise the title, description, fields, and success message from your form settings.
  • Works on every plan and counts against your normal monthly submission quota.
  • Paid plans can choose a custom link; free plans get an automatic short link.
  • Submissions run the same EU pipeline and spam filtering, and land in your dashboard.
↗︎

Formbutton: pop-up contact forms

Read the release notes (4)
  • Drop one script tag on any site for a floating button that opens a contact form.
  • Four button styles (pill, circle, side tab, bar) and your own colour, with auto-contrast text.
  • A compact pop-up panel that sits in the corner without covering the page.
  • A live builder at formward.eu/formbutton/builder generates the embed snippet for you.
v1.5↗︎

Multi-tier plans & yearly billing

Read the release notes (3)
  • New Personal, Professional, and Business tiers replace the single paid plan.
  • Choose monthly or yearly billing. Yearly saves up to a third per month.
  • Self-serve plan switching and proration through the Stripe customer portal.
v1.4↗︎

AI enrichment for Pro plans

Read the release notes (4)
  • Automatic spam scoring on every submission, powered by Mistral AI in the EU.

  • AI routing forwards submissions to the right recipient based on content.
v1.3↗︎

Multiple recipients & autoresponder

Read the release notes (3)
  • Send submission notifications to several email addresses per form.
  • Configure a branded autoresponder so submitters get an instant reply.
  • Per-form custom from-address support for autoresponders.
v1.2↗︎

Cloudflare Turnstile integration

  • Optional per-form toggle alongside the built-in honeypot and rate limiting.
v1.1↗︎

CSV export & data portability

Read the release notes (3)
  • Export any form's submissions to CSV from the dashboard in one click.
  • Exports include all custom fields plus received-at timestamps.
  • Supports GDPR data-portability requests out of the box.
v1.0↗︎
