What we optimise for.
EU by default, not as an add-on
Every layer, including hosting, database, email, and AI, sits inside the EU. Data residency is the architecture, not a checkbox.
No backend to babysit
Point a form at a URL and you are done. We handle spam, storage, email, and retries so you never maintain server code.
Honest, boring reliability
Hashed IPs, GDPR-clean defaults, no dark patterns, and self-serve billing. Infrastructure you can forget because it works.
Sister product

Formward tells you that somebody filled in your form. Metricward is EU-hosted product analytics that explains how they found you, what they read, where other visitors stopped, and whether conversions returned.
A sister product, not a bundle. They share a team, a Swedish hosting stack, and the same standards for visitor data. They do not share a database, a bill, or an account. Your submissions stay in Formward. Use either product alone and you will never notice the other exists.

Frequently asked questions
Is my data really in the EU?

Yes. Submissions and account data are stored in Sweden, transactional email uses EU providers, and AI enrichment runs with a European provider. Data only leaves where you deliberately send it.
Do I need a backend or server code?

No. Point your HTML form action at a Formward endpoint. We receive the request, validate it, filter spam, store it, and notify you.
How does spam filtering work?

In layers: a honeypot, hashed-IP rate limiting, optional Cloudflare Turnstile, and AI scoring on supported plans.
Can I use it with React, Next.js, or any framework?

Yes. Formward works with plain HTML, fetch requests, and any frontend framework. There is no SDK to install.
What happens when I reach my plan limit?

Further submissions are paused until the period resets or you upgrade. Existing submissions and data remain available.
Is there a free plan?

Yes. Free includes 100 submissions per month, unlimited forms, spam filtering, the dashboard, and EU data residency. No card is required.
How do the AI features work?

Supported plans can score spam, summarize messages, score leads, and route by content. Model processing runs in the EU with Mistral.
Are you GDPR-compliant, and is a DPA available?

Formward uses EU data residency, hashed IP storage, export and erasure tools, and a published DPA that can be accepted in the dashboard.
